All three and four year old children are eligible for the Universal Entitlement (UE) regardless of their family's household income, employment or immigration status.
The funded childcare offer is 15 hours per week during term-time (over 38 weeks), or 570 hours stretched across the year (over 48 weeks or over 51 weeks).
No application is required and parents need to secure a place directly with a suitable childcare provider of their choice (group-setting, childminder or school).
